To Head for the Hills is to make a journey out of the modern
world into the timeless one of nature.
The countryside is a labyrinth of secret, wild places; abandoned
sacred sites. Layers of history are suddenly thrown into relief
when viewed from a hill.
On each of our trips the guide presents a varied sequence
of days designed to reveal it all. Taking our cues from the
weather and passage of light we have no need of clock-time.
At times the group may be found walking spread apart, each
in their personal space.
With camp & luggage transported ahead we carry little.
We are able to leave behind the cares and clutter of the
modern world and enjoy a lifestyle outdoors for which we are
well equipped.
